WOMEN ARE SUPERHEROES
As I’ve been helping more women, I’ve realized how we need to look at the transition into menopause as the gateway to the second half of life and start to look forward with goals, active pursuits and achievements. It’s time to put the shovels away, stop digging the grave. Motivation
MOTIVATION I started a strength training plan today. I actually SIGNED up and SHOWED up for an 8 week program. This is not a new concept for me. I’m a classic yo-yo. I’ll spend a weekend eating like a truffle pig then feel very remorseful and have an urgent need to drive to a local gym and sign my life away only to quit in 2 months. I hide the self-loathing and utter dismay internally but, externally, I will wake up my friendly, always hungry, truffle pig and wreak havoc at the ice cream shop...

When the NP drinks the Kool-aid: Caroline's GLP-1 journey begins
On a GLP-1 – WEEK 1 I try not to be a hypocrite so, yes, I drank the Kool-Aid and started Zepbound, as a scientific study that I could offer my patients- yeah, right; it was totally intentional. I certainly could use it for weight loss having gained 25lbs in Menopause. But I also did nothing to slow or stop the gain. I had NO ENERGY, NO MOTIVATION.
